All classes are included with your membership.

Punch cards & drop-in classes are available for non-members.

Pilates:

Mindful movement that both strengthens the inner core musculature of the body along with lengthening the chronically overused muscles to create bilateral harmony in the body. This movement trains your muscles to become both efficient and powerful. Pilates focuses on purposeful movements that flow with breathe and focus to create change.

 

Zumba Basic®: The Original Dance Party

Are you ready to party yourself into shape? Forget the workout, just lose yourself in the music and find yourself in shape at the original dance-fitness party. Zumba® classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before you know it, you'll be getting fit and your energy levels will be soaring! It's easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating.

 

Zumba Toning: Rockin Party. Rock Hard Body.

When it comes to body sculpting, Zumba® Toning raises the bar (or rather, the toning stick). Learn how to use lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm and tone all the target zones, including arms, abs and thighs. Zumba Toning is the perfect way to sculpt your body naturally while having a total blast.

 

Work4it!:

Classes are high-intensity, fast- paced workouts that combine body weight movements, weight bearing interval circuits, and combat training. The program results after only a few committed weeks are: increased strength & agility, rapid fat burn, greater metabolic conditioning, and gains in sports performance. Be prepared to put out a maximum amount of effort in a short period of time.

 

20/20/20:

This one hour class incorporates twenty minutes each of hi-lo, step and weights designed around the principle of Linear Interval Training. Bouts of combinations that include upper and lower body movements designed to keep the heart rate in the aerobic state and leads your body into athletic interval periods which help bring the body into the anaerobic state. This is followed by and active recovery process which is maintained for an entire hour. This is a great workout if you’re looking to blast through a weight loss plateau or if you’re an avid athlete looking to improve your conditioning and cross training.

 

Pound:

Pound Fitness fuses cardio interval training with drumming to provide a challenging, heart-pumping workout. Anyone who thrives off the group fitness environment or needs loud music to stay motivated needs try this class.

 

Core Conditioning:

A full 30 minutes of ab flattening, belly-toning, waist-whittling exercise - just abs - to keep you looking lean and mean.

 

Body Works:

Body Works: Do you want to sculpt and define your body? Then this class is for you! Body Works is an hour long, low-impact comprehensive fitness class. After a 5-10 minute cardio warm-up, we will use hand weights, balls and tubing to tone your muscles, improve your balance and strengthen your core. The class ends with a focus on abs.

 

 

Spin:

A mixture of endurance, strength, interval and recovery phases.  You’ll ride flat roads, climb hills, sprint and work through some resistance with speed. Feel like you’ve traveled on a journey either across town or across the country.  This class is open to all levels: beginner, intermediate, or advanced - it's your ride, your workout...

 

Tai Chi:

Described as “meditation in motion,” tai chi’s slow, fluid movements help you to relax while increasing your energy and endurance.  Tai chi is a safe and gentle exercise for people of all ages, which can be done standing or sitting.  In twice-weekly classes at the RHFC, you will learn postures and movements, based on ancient principles, that have proven health benefits, including enhanced flexibility, mental alertness, and a sense of well-being.  Instructor Ralph Quinn uses effective instruction methods following Dr. Paul Lam’s Tai Chi for Health program. 

 

Triple Fat Burner:

This exciting 60-minute cardio and strength training workout combines kickboxing, step and weights.

 

Circuit Training:

An hour-long cardio workout incorporating upper and lower body strength training.

 

Total Body Blast:

An original, one of a kind class with BALANCE in mind. John has designed this workout program to concentrate on on the body as a whole, not just parts. High and low intensity movements are combined to give you a total body workout in just 45 minutes. Be prepared to push yourself to new limits with intense and effective core, upper and lower body training. Exercises can be modified for any level.

 

Step-n-Tone:

This class consists of cardiovascular exercises incorporating patterns using the step. We will then strengthen the upper, lower and abdominal muscles using weights, stability ball and tubing.

 

STRONG by Zumba:

Combines high intensity interval training with the science of Synced Music Motivation.  In every class, music and moves sync in a way that pushes you past your perceived limits, to reach your fitness goals faster.

 

Barre:

This class incorporates thigh, seat and core exercises at the barre.  It infuses ballet flexibility and Pilates principles which helps lengthen muscle while strengthening them at the same time.  The end result is a lean, strong sculpted body!

 

Arms & Abs:

This class incorporates the proper form, along with various tools such as bands, balls and weights to focus on strengthening and toning the upper body, arms and abs.
